Why I made this one
When I couldn’t control what was being said about me, I made something that says it for me.
I called it I Stand With Mel because that is what so many of you said to me first — in messages, in comments, in orders placed late at night with a note attached. I read them. All of them.
“I have endured years of harassment that has affected my family, children, and livelihood. While this is traumatizing, I know that it is far bigger than me.”
So I made something beautiful out of it. Caramel, vanilla, warm musk — the scent I reach for on the days I have to walk into a room with my head up anyway.
This is a limited edition. I made one run of it, for this moment. When it is gone, it is gone — and I would rather it live on the women who needed to hear that they are not the only one holding it together in public.
