When I was a little girl, I was diagnosed with Pityriasis rosea — inflamed, spreading breakouts that covered my skin. Nothing the doctors gave us worked the way we needed it to.

So my great-grandmother did what she always did. She went to the kitchen. Mixed shea, aloe, oils she swore by. Rubbed them into my skin with so much love I forgot to be scared. That's where my obsession with skincare began — not in a lab, but in her hands.

Fast forward: four kids, starring on OWN's Love & Marriage: Huntsville, constantly in and out of makeup chairs. I needed skincare that worked as hard as I did. Ten-step routines? I don't have ten steps. I barely have ten minutes.

Nothing on the shelf was built for a woman moving at my speed — and definitely not for my skin. So I partnered with a chemist and built it myself.
